Management

The daily management of BURNBLOCK^® is the responsibility of group CEO Torben Lyst, who has a background as a practicing Danish lawyer, holding a California master of law degree as well. Since Torben Lyst in the early 1995 took up a position as an associate with Scandinavia’s biggest and leading law firm, where he remained until 1999, Torben has been involved with numerous commercial enterprises not only as a legal counsellor but also at a commercial and management level.

Torben Lyst is answering to a steering committee consisting of majority shareholder Henrik Lyngbye Pedersen, a dedicated professional investor from the original Novo (Nordisk) family with a preference for supporting sustainability and environmental friendly industrial progress, BURNBLOCK^® founder John Griem, and Kristian Elvang and Peter Vilsøe, who are both Danish practicing lawyers and co-shareholders of BURNBLOCK^®.
